Aprils Patient Participation

Are you interested in talking to us about anything, or joining our PPG? Would you like to learn more about smears, or understand more about Anima? Please drop in to the practice between 1pm-2pm on Thursday 25th April. Our PPG will start at 2pm and we invite anyone who is interested to join us, its an informal group who work with the practice team to shape the services we offer to our patients.

Friends and Family feedback

Friends and Family feedback. Since taking over the practice in July, we’ve been trying to gain more feedback from patients about the service so we can ensure we are delivering what is important to you. We started with a survey to understand what you wanted, and we will soon be releasing a you said- we did update on the actions we have taken from this. In the interim we have been gathering friends and family feedback (a national survey about you experiences), and we are delighted to report for the last 2 months this has been 100% positive, with lovely comments about the whole team and the new Anima system. Thank you for this, we ensure this is fedback to staff too.

Anima FAQs

We have been asking for feedback from patients to make sure that our new appointment system is meeting your needs. Here are answers to some of the frequently asked questions we have received from patients about this new system.

Menopause & Me Event

Join us for an inclusive and supportive event for women who identify as *Black, Asian, or any other minoritised ethnic group as we explore the peri to post-menopause transition together. Our knowledgeable speakers will provide an informative and interactive session where you can ask the questions that matter to you and where you will connect and share experiences with others.

Appointment system changing

The way you book appointments is changing. From Tuesday 2nd January 2024 you will need to be taken through our triage system which is designed to make sure you get the help you need as fast as possible. The triage system means that a team of clinicians will assess your symptoms before giving you an appointment based on your clinical need rather than the time that you contact the surgery. That means that we have done away with the 8.30am rush for appointments! You can call or book online at any time during the day and we can make the appropriate appointment for you.

Join our PPG

We recognise that it is vital we engage patients in what we do, the services we provide, and how we offer them. As such we will be setting up a group for the patients of Harold St MC to come together and give their opinions and ideas on how we shape things now and in the future.
